Jeep’s Quadra-Trac I is a standard feature on the Grand Wagoneers. The Quadra-Trac I system offers four-wheel-drive full-time. This system comes with a lightweight transfer case that smooth and efficiently improves the Grand Wagoneer’s traction and increases fuel economy. This system works by transforming torque from the wheel slipping to the wheels that have a better grip. With the available Quadra-Trac, II system buyers will receive a two-speed transfer case. This system takes data from numerous sensors, these sensors can tell if a wheel is slipping long before it becomes a problem, and the system will divert power to the other wheels. Jeep’s most advanced 4×4 system is their Quadra-Drive II, with a rear Electronic Limited-slip Differential. This is a full-time 4×4 system, so it’s always active, delivering superior all-weather capability by transferring up to 100% of available torque to a single rear wheel if needed.
The 2022 Wagoneer will feature a new electrical architecture system that will facilitate secure messaging in Controller Area Network (CAN) communications. The CAN system allows for enhanced driver-assist features, like Hands-free Active Driving Assist autonomous functionality. Some of those autonomous features are Active Driving Assist, Hands-free Active Driving Assist, and ParkSense Automated Parking System. Hands-free Active Driving Assist offers hands-off driving no matter the speed along with lane-centering on approved roadways, providing an outstanding driving convenience. The system will predictively slow the vehicle down in tight curves and automatically resume control after the driver overrides and verifies that it is paying attention to the road.
The all-new 2022 Grand Wagoneer will offer accent badging and a standard sidestep. Buyers will be able to equip their Wagoneer with a Heavy-Duty Trailer Tow Package which will come with front-end tow hooks. The Wagoneer will feature four steel skid plates that will protect the front axle, transfer case, fuel tank, and rear stabilizer bushing when buyers opt for the Advanced All-Terrain Group. The profile of the Wagoneer reveals a stately, distinguished silhouette. A clean roofline and an A-line run the entire length of the vehicle, paying tribute to the original Wagoneer. An acoustic laminated windshield and front door glass will be standard on all trim levels, and this glass will reduce ambient noise levels. 20-inch wheels will come on all Wagoneers models, while an optional 22-inch polished wheel will also be available. The 2022 Grand Wagoneer will be available in a few different exterior colors such as Diamond Black, Bright White, Luxury White, Silver Zenith, Baltic Gray, Velvet Red, and River Rock Blue.
